San Vincente coastal walk

San Vincente coastal walk

We’ve got some great trips along the coast of Galicia, with swimming and seafood tasting.

Check out this 3.7-km point-to-point trail near O Grove, Pontevedra. Normally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 45 min to complete. This is a popular trail for running and walking, but you can still enjoy some solitude during the quieter hours of the day.

01

Walking

This route offers a great coastal landscape with relaxing sea views. You’ll see local fishing boats at sea and on the shores of the coves in the area. There are quiet, sandy and safe beaches here, perfect for relaxing, sunbathing or spending the day by the sea. The rock formations that have been piled up by the sea are pretty cool. You can also swim and sunbathe in the lovely coves.

02

Lunch

If you’re looking for a great place to enjoy seafood, Galicia is the place to go. We think you should make the most of the moment!

The road to San Cipriano

The road to San Cipriano

#2

30 min

San Cipriano was the name of the chapel that stood on the mountain for many
years and is now destroyed, we put a simple wooden cross on its ruins

01

Start

The trail starts from the gate next to the raspberries, after leaving this gate, turn left, get to the reservoir and then keep to the right. On the mountain at the light metal gate there will be a fork, where you need to keep to the left side, slowly climbing the forest road, always keeping to the left side.

You arrive in a deforested area with a heap of stones that used to be a forest chapel overlooking a valley

02

Finish

From here begins a gentle descent, first along a clearing, and then along a forest road. Keeping left at each fork, you will quickly descend back to the water tank.
