Park your car in the main square of Moledo near the beach and walk north along the road. In 2 minutes you will be on the beautiful forest road under the pine trees. Follow it to the mouth of the Minho river.

Return path
Before you head back, do three things: swim in the Minho River, walk along the beach from the river to the ocean, and have a cup of mint tea at a café near the mouth of the river. After that, walk around the nearby campsite and find an equally beautiful road through the pines leading south to Moledo.
We’ll be starting at the north end of Villa Praia d’Âncora. You’ll have a well-paved path along the rocky shore, which is very scenic and easy to walk. After about half an hour, you’ll reach the village of Moledo. Walk along the entire embankment and then continue on through the pine forest towards the town of Caminha.

Way back
Just up the road from the river Minho, there’s a little café where you can stop for a coffee or go for a swim. We suggest you go a little deeper from the coast into the forest. There is a forest road right along the campsite back to Moledo. From there, you’ll need to start your route again in the opposite direction.
Starting point – at the southern end of Vila Praia d’Âncora
From the southern seafront of the town, cross a bridge that leads to a wide sandy beach, continue along the sandy shore to the beach of Afife and Arda (about one and a half hours).

Two options
If you are very brave, you can continue as far as Carreço beach. These are deserted natural beaches full of charm, huge sand dunes and coastal vegetation. The path will be partly on sand and partly on wooden decks and forest roads, part of the Northern Littoral National Park Eco-path.
You will return the same way and have lunch at the Fortaleza Restaurant on the promenade of Vila Praia d’Âncora.
The protected landscape of Corno do Bico is a protected landscape in Portugal, located entirely in Paredes de Coura. It is one of the 30 officially protected areas in the country.
The car park at “Paisagem protegida do Corno do Bico” is the starting point of the route.

Follow the signs
All you have to do now is to choose one of the numbered trails and follow it.
It consists of woodland and grassland pastures, well-preserved oak groves and is home to a wide variety of native and European flora and fauna. Our route takes in five main viewpoints and is mostly on a plateau with no major changes in altitude, easy but long. Allow four hours for the walk, it’s worth it! Follow the signs and the route on the map, don’t be afraid – it’s hard to get lost here.
A less strenuous walk in the National Park Peneda Gerês offers breathtaking views, shady paths along streams and waterfalls, and pleasant breaks on warm boulders.
Branda is the name of a summer village in Portugal where people used to take their cattle and move during the hot season – it was cooler and the grass was denser.
You will first walk to Branda de Bilhares. Then you return to the village on a long traverse along the mountain with stunning views.
The starting point is a 45-minute drive from Vintequinta. Park your car at the viewpoint and walk towards the village of Ermida, turning right at the fork (signpost: Branda de Bilhares).
Follow the cobblestone road uphill and you will reach Branda in 35 minutes.
02
Walk back to Ermida and enjoy the panoramic view
Enjoy the ancient site and go back 400 m to the crossroads with a sign ERMIDA on the right.
From here, just follow the signs and enjoy the terrific views.
There will be a long traverse back to the village of Ermida and the viewpoint.
This trail takes you through a unique indigenous forest with native huge oaks, cedars, and aders, as well as many animals, including the rare Garrano horse breed and cachena cows.
It will start and finish at the picnic area of Poça do Couto near Miranda village and will take you to rivers, mills and green pastures.
At the beginning of the route, you will cross the river areas full of beautiful waterfalls and water mills (the so-called Barns of Alto Minho), which are no longer active. You will arrive at the Miranda Monastery, probably from the 12th century.

The wonder of the way
The most magnificent part is a protected forest with ancient, magical, majestic trees. Wild boars and wild horses roam in silence.
Starting point is a water tank on the National road 307 ( Link Arca to Armada) named Descida louca ao sarrabulho
Heard toward chapel St Lourenço de Armada with a breathtaking view around
Head towards Armada, with a group of cliffs on the right, and Boalhosa, with a group of villages and agricultural areas on the way. In Boalhosa, follow the road to the church in the centre of the village.
02
Oak grove
Leaving the village behind, you descend to the Trovela River. The oak groves begin to appear and eventually you enter them completely.
At the end of the descent, you can enjoy the sound of the river and then start to climb back up to the start of the trail.
The starting point for your journey will be the chapel of the small village of Germil, in the Peneda-Gerês National Park.
02
Going to the Germil de Baixo
You cross the stream, pass the cols and follow a pastoral path opened up by the passing of the herds, which ends in a forest path, always surrounded by beautiful scenery. Soon you can see magnificent riparian vegetation, surrounded by beautiful oak trees. Little by little, we begin to see the first houses of Germil de Baixo.
We’ve got some great trips along the coast of Galicia, with swimming and seafood tasting.
Check out this 3.7-km point-to-point trail near O Grove, Pontevedra. Normally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 45 min to complete. This is a popular trail for running and walking, but you can still enjoy some solitude during the quieter hours of the day.
This route offers a great coastal landscape with relaxing sea views. You’ll see local fishing boats at sea and on the shores of the coves in the area. There are quiet, sandy and safe beaches here, perfect for relaxing, sunbathing or spending the day by the sea. The rock formations that have been piled up by the sea are pretty cool. You can also swim and sunbathe in the lovely coves.

Lunch
If you’re looking for a great place to enjoy seafood, Galicia is the place to go. We think you should make the most of the moment!
The trail starts from the gate next to the raspberries, after leaving this gate, turn left, get to the reservoir and then keep to the right. On the mountain at the light metal gate there will be a fork, where you need to keep to the left side, slowly climbing the forest road, always keeping to the left side.
You arrive in a deforested area with a heap of stones that used to be a forest chapel overlooking a valley
02
Finish
From here begins a gentle descent, first along a clearing, and then along a forest road. Keeping left at each fork, you will quickly descend back to the water tank.
